Hypnosis techniques are some thing that can bring positive changes in your life style and in your attitude. The result of practicing the techniques of hypnotic therapy is almost a guaranteed one if the subject or the person undergoing hypnotic therapy is ready to cooperate with the hypnotist. Positive change hypnosis therapy does not always require the assistance of a trained hypnotist. It can be practiced with the help of the self hypnosis CDs and books that are now available in the market.
Whether it is self hypnosis process or some thing that is practiced with the help of a hypnotist, the cooperation from the part of the subject is essential to bring the desired positive result in the life of the person undergoing the hypnotic therapy. If you are ready to accept the positive suggestions from the part of the hypnotist you will definitely be able to eliminate all the bad habits that are adversely affecting your attitude towards life. The positive change hypnosis will also help you to enforce new constructive thoughts in the place of these negative thoughts or bad habits that you want to eradicate from your mind.
By using the techniques of positive change hypnosis therapy you will be able to achieve any of your desire that range from weight loss, quitting smoking, improve the memory and to increase the speed of thought of the person practicing it. It simply uses the technique of talking to one’s own subconscious mind where all the negative thoughts that are refraining you from reaching your goal in your life. You will be able to bring positive changes in your life by eradicating these negative thoughts from your life through the assertive and inducing methods of hypnotic therapy. It will help you to bring back the lost confidence and self esteem to your life. It will further teach you to visualize the happiness of the success that can accelerate performance to reach the desired positive change that you are expecting from undergoing a hypnotic therapy.
As many of us think it cannot be acquired in an overnight by simply obeying the commands of the hypnotists or listening to the assertive suggestions from a self hypnosis CD. It will take time to prepare your season or prepare your mind to receive the positive assertions of hypnotic therapy. It will not ring any result f you are not ready to accept the suggestions. Positive change hypnosis requires total cooperation from the part of the person who wishes to bring positive changes to his life through the techniques of hypnotism.

It seems that at some point almost everyone experiences some anxiety about public speaking. Hypnosis can be a useful tool to help many people overcome this fear of speaking in front of an audience, and become relaxed, confident speakers.
Although there are several ways to treat a fear of public speaking, hypnosis is often one of the most successful. Hypnosis deals with the “programming” in your subconscious mind, and can affect changes on a deeper level than we are counsciously aware of. Why is this important?
Your subconscious is trying to protect you by maintaining everything in your life the way it currently is — both the good and the bad! Your subconscious doesn’t really concern itself with concepts like happiness or unhappiness. It deals with basic survival, and the way it sees it, you have survived up to now the way you are, so you shouldn’t change anything and put yourself at risk.
You can see a therapist that uses hypnosis to overcome your anxiety, or you can use a public speaking hypnosis recording. Self hypnosis, like using a pre-recorded mp3 session, can in some cases be just as useful as seeing a therapist, and you can do it in the privacy of your own home. Public speaking hypnosis mp3s are available to use over and over until you feel that you have completely overcome your fear. They are also usually a cheaper option than seeing a hypnotherapist.
As with most other types of treatment, hypnosis works best when you are able to repeat it over and over. Owning a self hypnosis session allows you to use it every day, until you have successfully “brainwashed” yourself to the point where you have overcome your mental obstacles and re-programmed your mind.
Undergoing hypnosis, whether with a therapist or using a recording, usually begins by getting really relaxed and calm, and entering a pre-hypnotic state. Once hypnotized, you are usually still both awake and alert, but your mind is more receptive to suggestions. The hypnotherapist will guide you by giving you suggestions that will help your subconscious mind to change its habitual responses and replace them with new, more beneficial ones.
You subconscious does not understand negatives, so a suggestion should not be “I am not afraid of speaking in public,” but rather something like “I feel calm and relaxed when I speak in public,” or “I enjoy speaking in public.”
Using hypnosis to treat phobias has been proven effective in many research studies, and this includes treating fear of flying, fear of spiders, social phobias as well as fear of public speaking.
The concept of ypnosis has been around for a long time, but there are many misconceptions about this technique. For one, a lot of people think you are unconscious and not aware of what goes on around you when you are hypnotized. This is not correct; under hypnosis, you might feel like you are in an altered state of mind, but you are still aware of what is going on and nothing can be done to you that you do not allow.
You can not be hypnotized against your will, and you are still in control when you are under hypnosis. If you feel insecure about what the public speaking hypnosis tape will “do to you”, listen through it without focusing on following the suggestions, or read the script before you start your self hypnosis session, just for your own peace of mind.

Hypnosis therapy has been used for a long time now in order to treat a wide variety of psychological conditions. Contrary to popular perception, hypnosis has nothing to do with black magic or anything that is even remotely supernatural. It is in fact a science by itself and helps in creating a sense of control on their lives in people. An increasing number of people are getting benefited from hypnosis these days, thanks to its rising popularity, courtesy the internet.
Hypnosis therapy involves giving powerful suggestions to a person when he or she is in a trance like state. Any person in a hypnotized state is relaxed with the mind being extremely attentive. This kind of mental situation is something similar to the one that is induced by various meditative techniques. During this trance like state, direct access to any person’s powerful conscious mind is permitted.
Hypnosis therapy is used in treating a wide variety of psychological problems these days. Many bad habits including smoking and alcohol addiction can also be treated using hypnosis. In fact millions of people around the world use hypnosis in order to quit smoking. Powerful messages against smoking can be given to a smoker’s subconscious mind during a hypnotized state. These powerful messages get embedded in their mind and they would then lose the urge to smoke this way. While in some instances a single session of hypnosis may be all that is needed in order to quit smoking, it could also take several sessions in some other cases. Many cases of alcohol addiction are also treated similarly using hypnosis.
Hypnosis therapy is also used in the treatment of other psychological problems including, anxiety, tension, fear, depression and phobias. People have been known to achieve increased self-confidence after undergoing this therapy. There are many medical conditions too in which this therapy is used. For instance patients suffering from pain as a result of radiation or surgery are often treated using hypnosis, which helps in giving them relief. With so many benefits to be accrued, it is no wonder that hypnosis is increasingly becoming popular these days.
While visiting an experienced hypnotist is the best way to experience the benefits of hypnosis therapy, these days there are also many other self-hypnosis aids available. The market is for instance flooded with many compact discs on the subject, using which you can hypnotize yourself and gain several benefits. A few sessions of hypnosis can bring about a positive change in your life and boost your self-esteem immensely.

Hypnosis is real. You must have most of the times see the hypnotist making people sleep suddenly, acts as directed and in bizarre ways. There are several forms of hypnosis that work differently in different situation. There are people who prefer hypnosis to fix up a problem they have been facing for a long time, some would like to use it to control a person, action or situation and others consider it a serious medical therapy.

If you are curious about hypnosis and want to know more about it or would like to pursue it as a career may decide to join a hypnosis course.

These courses are available all around you. Just go on a hypnosis course hunt and you would find almost a hundreds of them.

Here, you must focus on which course to choose from. There are several courses available under the category of hypnosis study. You would find self hypnosis, conversational hypnosis and a lot more.

Here are some tips to choose the best course for yourself:

- Step One

First, you must focus on choosing a course that’s created by someone who is a real life expert in the field of hypnosis. This way, you can avoid falling in to the trap of scam courses. These courses are often designed by aspiring hypnotists who don’t have the slightest idea of this art. Make a thorough research prior to going for a hypnosis course. Go through the materials provided, discuss with those who are already in to this field, analyze and then decide.

- Step two

You must also focus on choosing a hypnosis course that can deliver you classes in an audio format as well. This will let you learn in an easy, effective and better way. Try to look for some written materials as well. The combination is ideal for learning the art of hypnosis.

- Step three

A hypnosis school that provides you guaranteed refund is the best option. This is an assurance that the school is not a scam and will provide you satisfactory courses. This also exudes the confidence of the school in it’s’ services and courses offered. Anytime you feel unsatisfied, you can ask for a money refund.

- Step four

An online community is always a better option. Once you find this option the best one for you, make sure that you see whether it offers a forum or network online that lets you communicate with other hypnotists. If it does, this is the best option for you. Remember that it is almost impossible to learn conversational hypnosis without making any sort of contacts. These contacts will allow you to master the power of conversational hypnosis.

Learning the art of hypnosis is not all that difficult. All you require to do is to find a course that is just right for you.

Incredibly, there is a way to reduce anxiety during pregnancy, experience comfortable childbirth without any pain medication and minimise the risk of post-natal depression. And it’s available to every single mother-to-be at minimal cost.
Surprised? Well you may be even more surprised to discover that it’s not a new development but a simple therapy that has been around for centuries. This miracle cure for all the modern-day trials of childbirth was pioneered by Dr Grantly Dick-Read, the founder of the National Childbirth Trust no less. He was a leading proponent of the use of hypnotherapy in labour when he wrote ‘Childbirth Without Fear’, originally published in 1933.
Inspired by the good doctor, the HypnoBirthing movement gathered pace in the US in the latter part of the 20th century. Created by hypnotherapist Marie Mongan, it provides a structured training programme for practitioners as well as books and CDs offering practical advice and information for expectant parents.
Extensive research, mainly in the US but including some small studies in the UK, demonstrates without exception the many benefits of hypnosis in childbirth. Despite this and the fact that there are a growing number of hypnotherapists trained to support maternity services, HypnoBirthing is not available within the NHS.
Midwives in Scotland who dipped into their own pockets to pay for hypnotherapy training earned numerous testimonials from happy parents for their trouble. But, as is the case with the majority of alternatives to drug-centred treatment, the medical establishment is reluctant to acknowledge hypnotherapy as a valid treatment for any kind of condition. And this is even though a study conducted back in the 1950s gave it sufficient credibility for the BMA to recommend that hypnosis techniques should be taught to all medical students. Needless to say, the recommendation was never taken up.
However, the National Childbirth Trust is a testament to parent power, proving that sizeable numbers of us would prefer to keep medical intervention in childbirth to a minimum using safe, simple, tried and tested methods. On the whole, our heroic midwives support this aim and we are fortunate indeed to have all the technology NHS budgets can afford to provide life-saving treatment when things don’t go to plan. That said, if you do a straw poll of any number of mums in your acquaintance you’ll find an unsettling number pale at the memory of their labour and, if pressed, will reveal something traumatic about the birth of their cherished little ones.
In fact, I’d describe my own two experiences of childbirth as harrowing to say the least and believe they would have been very different if I had the knowledge I have since gained as a clinical hypnotherapist.
So let me explain how hypnotherapy helps mother and baby, making the job easier for attending midwives and ultimately reducing complications and subsequent costs. Dr Dick-Read rejected the need for pain relieving drugs during childbirth on the grounds that pain was principally a product of preconceived fear and tension. He called it the ‘fear-tension-pain’ syndrome and believed that women who were properly prepared could control labour pain themselves without having to resort to medication.
Our innate fear of childbirth is a belief derived from cultural conditioning. There are non-westernised cultures where it is considered normal for babies to be delivered without pain. But, for us, the term ‘labour’ automatically conjures up thoughts of pain and struggle. And we relate hospitals to sickness and death, not life.
So, two evocative negative images already exist deep within our psyche, in the subconscious, where thoughts and beliefs gathered through a lifetime are deeply embedded. It is this part of the mind where hypnosis does its work and where hypnotherapy can begin to transform the birth experience by dislodging negative conditioning.
Contrary to popular belief and a mystique cultivated by stage performers, hypnosis is no more extraordinary an experience than day-dreaming. It is a trance-like state between waking and sleeping which we frequently go into quite naturally during the course of a day. What is exceptional about hypnosis is that it enables us to access the subconscious part of our brain and change our way of thinking through imagery and suggestion.
We cannot consciously ‘unthink’ long held beliefs any more than we can learn not to read any more. We cannot, through sheer force of willpower, decide not to feel pain. But hypnosis enables us to overcome fears and focus our attention away from pain to a degree that makes it possible to block it out completely.
This is powerful stuff so it’s worth stating loudly that no-one can be hypnotised against their will or be forced whilst under hypnosis to behave or think in a way they do not wish to. The act of becoming hypnotised is, in effect, self-hypnosis, whether induced by a therapist, by listening to a CD or simply by relaxing and using well-practiced techniques. This alone reduces tension and creates a feeling of well-being and calm.
Ante-natal hypnotherapy sessions enable pregnant women to fine tune this natural ability. With the guidance of a clinician, anyone can learn to use what is described as the ‘hypnoreflexogenous protocol’ to create a ‘conditioned reflex’. Put simply, it is possible through hypnosis to prepare emotionally to remain in control of and respond confidently to the physical process of childbirth. So, women giving birth can overcome the ‘fear-tension-pain’ syndrome using self hypnosis to achieve the best possible outcome in their given circumstances. There are even examples of caesarean sections being carried out using hypnosis alone as anaesthetic. But this is at the extreme end of the spectrum of uses of hypnosis because of the degree of preparation required for a patient to undergo any kind of surgery in this manner.
All you have to do is Google ‘HypnoBirthing’ or ‘hypnosis and childbirth’ and you will find numerous clinical studies revealing to varying degrees, but nonetheless quite staggering, statistical success stories. Time after time you will find evidence of considerably shorter labours, particularly for primigravid women, with the first stage reduced by three hours or more. Typically, twice as many women using hypnosis require no pain medication and the majority delivery spontaneously without any surgical intervention. Interestingly, though perhaps not surprisingly, higher Apgar scores are recorded for ‘hypnobabies’.
What is clear from research findings is that hypnosis is a safe and effective way to decrease the perception of pain whilst increasing your ability to manage the sensations of labour. With plenty of practice, it is possible for some women to use self hypnosis to eliminate pain completely and experience only pressure during contractions. While not all of us can achieve this, we are all capable of decreasing our perception of pain and increasing our coping skills. When tense, anxious or frightened, our bodies create a ‘fight or flight’ response.
Animal research shows that, if threatened by predators, mammals will flood their bodies with ‘fight or flight’ chemicals to stop labour so they can get themselves and their babies to safety. This was also demonstrated during the Blitz when it was noted that women in labour would stop when air raid sirens went off only to start again after the raid was over. In a normal environment, the ‘fear-tension-pain’ syndrome can create the same response, leading to prolonged labour, greater foetal distress and lower Apgar scores.
Conversely, self hypnosis creates a state of deep relaxation whilst fully aware, totally relaxed and in control. It generates feel-good endorphins, making it possible to maintain energy levels throughout the physically demanding process of childbirth. And the benefits don’t stop there. Research reveals that mothers who deliver under hypnosis overwhelmingly report positive feedback on the whole experience. Complications are fewer and more pregnancies go to full-term. Partners are more engaged as they are involved in maintaining the right conditions for hypnosis to do its work and they do not have to experience seeing the mother of their child in extreme distress. Postpartum, these mums recover more quickly and are less susceptible to post natal depression.
Given all this evidence, it is my passionate belief that all parents-to-be should at least be made aware of the incredible power of hypnotherapy and have the opportunity to experience the advantages for themselves.

You can learn how to do hypnosis in different ways. It is a great power to have. You can help people and also yourself to break free from bad habits and defeat obstacles that are destroying the quality of your life. You can learn how to put people into a relaxed state in which they are open to suggestions and break free of their negative behavior.

Learning and understand exactly what is happening in a hypnotic state is important to know, and the best way to accomplish that is by learning self-hypnosis. By using hypnosis techniques on yourself, you can relieve pain, develop confidence, and break any bad habits that you may have, such as nail biting, smoking or any phobia. You can easily replace fear and negativity with self-confidence and positive thinking.

Once you have learned how to do hypnosis and have changed your bad habits, you can use your new knowledge to help other people. There are two powerful methods that can help you do this in various ways.

Traditional hypnosis, also known as overt hypnosis, involves hypnotizing a voluntary subject. The person is put into a relaxed state using an induction method. They are given suggestions, such as “You will be repulsed by cigarettes” or “You will be relaxed around other people”. The person is then brought out of the hypnotic state and the hypnosis session will hopefully have had a positive and lasting effect.

Another type of hypnosis involves Influencing and persuading other people without them even knowing. This is also known as conversational hypnosis or covert hypnosis. This is a technique which is often used by salesmen to persuade customers to buy something they never really wanted.

Learning how to do hypnosis can really be a great power to master. It can be applied in numerous ways to influence people to do what you want, and best of all, it can be used during the course of an everyday conversation. It can really make you see how people think and get them to follow your way of thinking. I can really have a great affect on yourself and people around you.

The Amazing Raveen is the only thing which comes in mind when we think about hypnosis. It is true that there are countless hypnosis techniques but only some of them have proven effective. These effective techniques are used for medical and psychological issues, which include nausea during pregnancy, habit disorders, anxiety and psychosis among others.
Many professionals use hypnosis against those who are trying either to loose weight or to quit smoking. Hypnosis is not just a show item. Hypnosis is similar to like what we see in the movies – a dim room and a calm voice counting backwards.
Traditional Hypnosis
What is traditional hypnosis? Traditional hypnosis is best for the people who are highly responsive to hypnosis. However, people who are very critical and analytical resist the traditional method. If it works with these kinds of people then it is just luck. Traditional hypnosis is the easiest technique among all the major techniques.
There are thousands of guided hypnosis CDs and mp3s which are rooted in traditional hypnosis. Anyone can easily learn this technique with the help of these things.
If you see from the bottom level then you will find that traditional hypnosis has very many things in common with other hypnosis techniques. In this technique a person enters into a deep state of relaxation. At this point, the patient’s subconscious becomes highly suggestible and he begins addressing a key concern, either through problem-solving or auto-suggestion.
Ericksonian Hypnosis
Ericksonian Hypnosis is believed to be the most effective technique among those which are used today. What is the reason behind its success? The Ericksonian technique is done by introducing ideas to our subconscious with the help of stories-called metaphors.
Use of metaphors in the Ericksonian technique of hypnosis makes it different from other techniques of hypnosis. With the help of metaphors the practitioner is able to pass the barriers which are set up by the conscious mind and help them to reach the subconscious.
What are the types of metaphors which are used by hypnotist? Generally, there are two types of metaphors which are used by the hypnotist. The first one is the Isomorphic metaphor, which offers a moral lesson. The second one is the embedded command. In this the conscious mind is distracted by the plot or some other aspect of the tale while the subconscious mind finds an indirect clue to the solution of a problem within the tale.
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP)
What is neuro-linguistic programming? It is the most effective form of hypnosis. The reason behind its success is the way the treatment is performed. In NLP, suggestions are not provided to your subconscious. Instead, in this technique thought patterns are provided which are causing you concern and these thought patterns are used to eliminate the problem.
NLP is based on three components: NLP anchoring, NLP flash and NLP reframe. Here NLP anchoring means a way “anchoring” the desired states, which means like a feeling of self esteem in our body. For example, recalling a time when we are admired or rewarded for a perfect job. With the help of NLP we can regularly raise our sense of self-esteem or we can self-motivate ourselves.
NLP flash is a little bit different from NLP anchoring. It means the flipping of our conditioned responses. With the help of NLP flash a hypnotist can train a body to leave cigarettes and coffees. This is one of the most effective techniques if somebody just wants to quit smoking or lose weight.
At last, the most important technique which makes difference between the NLP and the other hypnosis technique is the NLP reframe. It is done by using the subconscious state to replace a negative or undesirable behavior with one that is more positive and good.
Matt Santi discovered the healing benefits of hypnosis while in college and wanted to improve his self confidence. He offers free membership access to his Rapid Hypnotism course that teaches you how to use this natural power to improve your life with little effort.

When I first set out to write this article, the idea was to explain to fellow-dieters how tremendously useful self-hypnosis and NLP is to ensure weight loss success. Somehow it didn’t quite turn out that way. What started as a superficial intellectual exercise ended as an in-depth personal exploration of my own weight loss theories.
How did it all come about? At the time I was preparing the material for a new e-book about weight loss through hypnosis, my personal life was rather complicated and getting more complicated by the day. Somewhere along the way I had also picked up a few very stubborn kilos that I just couldn’t get rid off.
I’d start dieting (usually on a Monday), perfectly motivated and committed, but within 24 to 48 hours I would have found a very good reason to come off my diet. Sometimes it wasn’t that well defined, I would just sort of slide off without noticing, until at some point I would realize that whet I am eating now could under no circumstances fit into any diet plan.
As I was working with the self-hypnosis material the whole day long, it did eventually dawn on me that I could try it on myself.
Why is it so difficult the 2nd (or 3rd or 4th or 5th) time around? First I needed to formulate the problem clearly. So what is the matter here? I can get the energy and courage together to start, but persevering beyond 48 hours seems impossible.
So how can I use self-hypnosis and NLP to keep me going? Incorporating NLP into my effort is super-easy- I create and set an anchor that I can fire each time I feel like comfort eating. I am quite susceptible to this sort of thing- so I chose to set a bursting-with-happiness anchor.
Incorporating self-hypnosis is a bit more complicated. Naturally, I will benefit from the relaxation aspect of it. My life is so stressful at the moment; I can do with all the help I can get. But if I am finally going to get rid of those extra kilos permanently, I need more.
Like I said, I don’t have any difficulty starting a diet and/or exercise program, it’s keeping at it that seems to be my downfall. I checked all the common ecological factors. Is there secondary gain? Does this extra weight serve a purpose? Do I really want to lose this weight? No, no and yes!
It struck me that the problem may be insufficient preparation. Not physical, I know I have to empty the cupboards off temptation and get in all the healthy stuff before I go on a diet. I mean mental preparation. So I design a bespoke program of twice a day self-hypnosis sessions that incorporates a relaxation induction, a suggestion phase with personalized affirmations based famous motivational and inspirational quotes that have been meaningful to me in my life so far, a powerful confidence boosting phase to make me feel better about myself, my favorite weight loss script, a script of help me stick to my exercise program and a chocolate aversion script to cure me of my current chocolate addiction.
Because I am a very strong kinesthetic, I chose tactile accessories: a rose quartz crystal to help me calm down, a vanilla candle to make me feel good (it brings back powerful memories of a care-free childhood) and the services of the housecat, Minuit. Stroking him while I listen to my self-hypnosis recordings does something for my soul that is difficult to put into words. Those animal therapy guys must be onto something. If you are auditory or visual, none of this will make any sense to you. But it you are kinesthetic too, you will know exactly how I feel.
I started my mental preparation 7 days before I started my diet. It worked and keeps on working. I now only listen to the recording once a day. It has become my exclusive, private, invest-in-myself me-time. I also discovered that a luxurious bubble bath is a very effective kinesthetic prop. I knew my method worked; after all I had used it with my patients many times before and with their help had fine-tuned it to the sleek system it is today. But as I had never had any weight problems before, I had never had the opportunity to try it out.
Now I have, and can say with conviction from personal experience that it works. And that it does indeed have various unexpected side-benefits. My stress levels have come down dramatically, and because I am calmer and more confident and centered, my communication skills and therefore all my relationships have improved dramatically. And I haven’t touched (or craved!) chocolate in months!

Some people believe that weight loss begins in the mind. But the question I’ll try to answer is: could lose weight hypnosis be an alternative for losing weight? Permanent weight loss occurs with a change in lifestyle, not through unnatural diets that are impossible to maintain.Hypnotism has become an important part of weight loss strategies. Currently, more and more people are turning to hypnosis or hypnotherapy for help with weight loss. Many traditional weight loss programmes leave us feeling frustrated and deprived. It is known that this is the pattern of weight loss but that slowing down of the weight coming off makes the whole process seem more effortful. The weight isn’t dropping off as fast as it was. Lots of people try to lose weight using methods based on hypnosis. But the weight doesn’t stay off. Many individuals these days, male or female, young or old, are struggling with weight management. Repetitive weight loss and gain is hard on the body, especially the heart and of course, it is hard on the emotional state of the dieter as well. Temporary weight loss is easy. This is probably because patients have not made any fundamental changes to their behavior, which would result in weight loss. Self hypnosis is usually thought of as a person listening to an audio tape, mp3, or other mass-produced media, intended to induce a willingness to absorb suggestions centered around a specific topic such as weight loss, stop smoking, etc. As soon as the patient can measure progress for this goal (like pounds lost, if the goal is weight loss, days of no smoking, if the goal is to stop smoking, and so on. People go to the hypnotist for a variety of reasons: some people’s problems are more ‘on the surface’, for instance weight watchers, smokers, people with a drinking problem; some on the other hand have more deep rooted issues, which could deal with their self image, traumatic experiences in their life, divorce, deaths, or career decisions, among others. Also be aware of what you feel for the moment like the temperature of your skin, the weight of your body against the chair or bed etc. From smoking to sexual problems, from will power to weight loss, all types of hypnosis downloads are available on the internet. Apart from hypnosis, there are many stop smoking ‘products’ on the market that patients can choose. Because hypnosis permanently changes patient’s attitude towards smoking they have little chance of relapse at any point in the future. You may have heard that people get hypnotized to lose weight or quit habits like smoking or chewing their fingernails. For example, a stop smoking hypnosis may delve into the rationale for quitting – my family is important to me and needs me to be healthy. It is better to live a long life than a short one, etc. For self hypnosis to help people quit smoking and losing weight, all people need to do is visit some particular sites and click on a particular hypnotic routine. For example, if you want to quit smoking you will have to download the MP3 related to hypnosis for smoking. As a result of stopping smoking there will be an improvement in health. Smoking cessation, confidence building and habit breaking are all positive outcomes that self hypnosis bring. People do actually succeed in stopping smoking but the same method of stopping does not work for everyone and sometimes the same method may finally work only after a second or third attempt at it is tried. Hypnosis is probably best known for breaking habits with stop smoking and weight loss success and yet it has been found to be effective in reducing and managing stress, achieving deep relaxation, increasing energy, overcoming fears, overcoming insomnia, and reducing the experience of pain. From low confidence to sexual issues, from smoking to weight loss, people seem to be benefiting from the effects of hypnosis for a variety of problems. Hypnosis that is designed to address a habit like smoking or eating is often delivered in group sessions held over a number of hours, and it can also be administered by CDs and tapes at home.

You might have heard about the scandal last year where Australian Channel Ten was caught flashing subliminal logos of different products during and award show. The Australian Communications and Media Authority are now looking into the case to see if any laws were broken by the channel. What’s the big fuss? In most countries in the western world it is illegal to “attempt to use or involve a technique which attempts to convey information to the viewer by transmitting messages below or near the threshold of normal awareness.”
So if there actually are laws preventing the use of subliminals in advertising and television programming, couldn’t these same techniques be used as subliminal confidence boosters? I know the jury still seems to be out on this issue; some studies indicate that subliminal messaging works, others find no proof of this. But if the advertising industry spends millions of dollar every year on subliminal advertising and research, isn’t it likely that there is something to this?
So how can this power be used as subliminal confidence building? We know affirmations work, but maybe there can be a more efficient way to go about them? Both affirmations and subliminals are basically just messages. Affirmations you tell yourself over and over, subliminals you are not aware of.
In addition to using affirmations and different exercises to build your confidence, you could use subliminals messages. For instance, have a subliminal confidence booster playing in the background when you are asleep. Or get a subliminal confidence mp3 that you can play on your ipod or in your car.
Subliminal confidence recordings also have the advantage that unlike regular affirmation or hypnosis recordings they can be used almost anywhere because it is really hard for someone listening to make out what is being said.
Anyone who has ever experienced low self esteem or self confidence knows how much it affects and worsens your life. Repeating affirmations to yourself and using hypnosis, either self hypnosis, a hypnotherapist or a hypnosis mp3, can definitely help your confidence, but if there are other options out there that can be just as or even more efficient, it’s important to try them.
It just makes sense that using a subliminal confidence booster, alone or together with the affirmations and hypnosis, could give you even better results. It also saves you time. Even if you don’t have time to listen to a hypnosis recording every day, you can put on your subliminal confidence booster when you go to bed and let your subconscious work on your problem while you are sleeping.
It definitely can’t hurt to try a subliminal confidence program, and chances are it will really help you. Even if all the research is not in on this issue, nothing has been ruled out either. You really just need to follow the money; the advertising industries are practically running our world today, and if they are spending a lot of money and effort on this, chances are its highly effective.
